If you, like me, are one of those with vision loss from glaucoma and are over 65 and retired and no longer need to wear formal business attire, permit me to introduce you to an attractive, comfortable, practical post-retirement shirt that allows you to safely carry a host of useful items to help you cope with life's daily challenges:
The Exofficio Men's Air Strip long-sleeved shirt. (See photo). If I were the manufacturer, I would call it the iPhone shirt. But it holds much more so for our purposes I'll call it the Sight-Smart Shirt.
My right-side security-zippered pocket and Velcro-flap closure safely holds my iPhone with earbuds and my iPod Nano with FM radio.
My left-side Velcro-flap-closure pocket holds my Great Point Light illuminated magnifying glass, my Zeiss Mini-Telescope, my Zeiss Lens Cleaning Wipes for my glasses, a retractable-point Parker pen, and a contact information card.
Exofficio also makes comfortable and practical cargo pants so you don't have to hurt your sit bone or back by sitting on a wallet or a comb, plus their zippered wallet pocket adds security.
Thus, with increasing age, decreasing visual acuity, and the greater need for practical solutions and security, don't forget the need for smarter sight-saving clothing.
You’re looking good!
