Glaucoma Research Foundation Appoints Aileen Trieu as Assistant Director of Special Events and Annual Fund

San Francisco, May 8, 2012 - The Glaucoma Research Foundation is pleased to announce the addition of Aileen Trieu as the organization’s new Assistant Director of Special Events and Annual Fund.

Ms. Trieu brings more than five years of experience in development and event planning.

“Aileen is a wonderful addition to our team at Glaucoma Research Foundation. Her experience and skill set will greatly enhance our fundraising efforts as well as our newest catalyst program, Glaucoma 360, a three-day event centered on glaucoma research and the development novel therapies to preserve sight and prevent blindness,” said Thomas Brunner, the foundation's President and Chief Executive Officer.

Ms. Trieu is a graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles, where she studied political science. She began her development career at UCLA’s Jules Stein Eye Institute and has held positions at the University of California, San Francisco within the Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center and Benioff Children’s Hospital.
