The 5th Annual Glaucoma 360 New Horizons Forum took place at the Palace Hotel in San Francisco on January 29, 2016.

New Horizons Forum unites key clinical, industry, financial, and FDA leaders in a unique exchange on research innovation and advances in glaucoma treatment. Launched in 2012 by the Glaucoma Research Foundation, this catalyst meeting is designed to bring the essential components together in order to speed the translation of new ideas into clinical practice.

Emmett Cunningham, Jr., MD, PhD, MPH (Partner, Clarus Ventures) moderated the panel discussion on Funding Innovation: Securing Capital to Finance Your Start-up.

The session New Horizons in Glaucoma Devices was moderated by Steven Vold, MD and Malik Kahook, MD.

The Keynote Lecture was delivered by Richard A. Lewis, MD, Co-Founder of Sacramento Eye Consultants and Former Director of Glaucoma, University of California, Davis; President of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, and Past President of the American Glaucoma Society. The Drs. Henry and Frederick Sutro Memorial Lecture features key opinion leaders and innovators in the field of glaucoma.
