List of Peer-reviewed Publications

Following are selected peer-reviewed publications resulting from research made possible by grants from the Glaucoma Research Foundation.

Peer review is a scholarly process used in the publication of scientific research manuscripts. Peer review insures high quality standards by subjecting an author's work or ideas to the scrutiny of others who are experts in the field.

These experts each return an evaluation of the work, including suggestions for improvement, to an editor or other intermediary.

Listed here are over 100 papers in peer-reviewed journals that attest to the quality of the science and the quality of the researchers that are funded through the Shaffer Grants of the Glaucoma Research Foundation.

It is likely that there are even more papers related to these projects as scientists continue their efforts beyond the initial GRF funding.
