I have glaucoma. Do I need to stop driving?

Giving up driving is difficult to consider. We all value our independence and want to keep it as long as possible.

However, it is important to know when you need to stop or when you need help, for the safety of yourself and others on the road. Some warning signals that you want to consider are side vision loss, sensitivity to lights, blurred vision and crashes or “near misses.”
