Glaucoma Support Groups
Managing glaucoma is a life-long pursuit. Talking with people who share some of your concerns can be very helpful. There are many support groups for people with glaucoma.
To find a group that meets in person, check with hospitals and eye care centers in your area.
The Glaucoma Service Foundation to Prevent Blindness in Philadelphia offers an online glaucoma chat room on the first and third Wednesday of every month at 8:30 pm EST. They also host meetings at the hospital every Sunday.
Yahoo Groups also has several online support groups. Just go to http://groups.yahoo.com/ and search for “glaucoma”.
