Andrea Williams

Andrea, now 7, had an infection in her eye when she was just 9 months old. The infection in her eye caused damage to the inner structures that years later resulted in symptoms of glaucoma. She underwent eye surgery performed by a leading children’s glaucoma specialist, and since then her eye health has been very good.
She continues to see her glaucoma specialist for regular check-ups, and her father and mother, Stephen Williams and Swee Wai Ng, are grateful for the excellent care Andrea has received from her eye doctor.
Andrea’s photo appeared in the May, 2007 edition of GRF’s Gleams newsletter.
