As a Glaucoma Research Foundation Volunteer, you help open doors in your local community, extend our capacity to deliver educational services, and find new support for innovative research programs.
You can assist in two very important areas.
Establish contact with local eye care professionals, deliver educational materials, and follow up to learn whether and how the materials are helping doctors and patients.
Contact local community organizations that serve people at particular risk for glaucoma, including seniors, African Americans, and people with diabetes.
You will use your talents to assist a nationally recognized nonprofit organization striving to save sight.
You will learn the most up to date information about glaucoma and its treatment.
You will help more than three million Americans with glaucoma— half of whom don’t even know they have the disease.
We are looking for volunteers that can help with the mailings of our glaucoma information. If you live in the San Francisco Bay Area and can commit to 4-6 hours a week please fill out the form below.
