Thomas M. Brunner
President and CEO
Before he joined GRF as President and CEO in 2003, Mr. Brunner was Executive Vice President at Lumenis, Inc. (formerly Coherent), where he was instrumental in the development of lasers for ophthalmic surgery. He began his ophthalmic career at Coherent Medical where he was the project leader for the first commercially successful argon laser photocoagulator. During the 1990’s, Mr. Brunner was involved in the development of Selective Laser Trabeculoplasty (SLT), a new minimally-invasive laser therapy for glaucoma.
