Mona Zander

Mona Zander is a native of Massachusetts with a BA degree from Stonehill College. She has held positions with AT&T, the Massachusetts Commission for the Blind, and Century 21. She lives in Carmel and Palm Desert with her husband, Ed Zander with whom she co-chaired Glaucoma Research Foundation’s Annual Benefit in January 2008 and January 2009. Mona and Ed have personally hosted the Ambassador’s Circle reception for Ambassador Circle table hosts and their guests.
Mona’s community activities have included fundraising for the American Cancer Society, The Field Museum Women's Guild (Chicago), the MCA board (Chicago), Parkways of Chicago, the Monterey Museum of Art, and she is a sponsor of Youth Music Monterey. She was a Vice Chair of the American Cancer Society’s 2008 Discovery Ball, which raised more than $2 million for cancer research, education, and prevention.
Ms. Zander joined the Glaucoma Research Foundation Board of Directors in September 2009.
