J. Bronwyn Bateman, MD

Dr. Bateman was a Professor in the Departments of Ophthalmology and Pediatrics at the University of Colorado and the Founding Director of the Rocky Mountain Lions Eye Institute.

Dr. Bateman is an expert in the medical and surgical management of pediatric eye diseases. She is also a board-certified geneticist and has made significant contributions in the field of ophthalmic genetics including identification of genes causing pediatric cataracts. Dr. Bateman has served on the Glaucoma Research Foundation Board since 1994.
