Art Takahara

Art Takahara was actively involved with Glaucoma Research Foundation as a volunteer and committee member before being elected to the Board of Directors in 2007. A former mayor of Mountain View in Silicon Valley, Mr. Takahara brings proven leadership experience to the board.

He hosted a Catalyst Update event at the Grand Hotel in Sunnyvale in 2006, and is founding chair of GRF's Silicon Valley chapter launched in fall, 2007. Art also serves on the Foundation's Executive Committee.
